When we are in difficult circumstances, it is difficult not to live in fear and anxiety. I think of my sister and her son and the long road to healing and the fear he will not be whole. I pray for her, for him. But I am reminded that ultimately we have to trust Jesus. I read today Matthew 17:7, "Get up, don't be afraid." It was in a different context and situation, but that's ok. I can apply it to my life!
May I be able to not be afraid! May my sister and her family too. Another verse, "When I am afraid, I put my trust in You."
Jesus, keep me turned to you, trusting in you and not the circumstances around me!

Prayer for Revelation
1) For revelation (divine
direction).
2) For an infilling of wisdom (divine perception) and the knowledge for how to implement it.
3) For the knowledge of what the Father has for me and the how, when, where, and with whom.
4)
For a revelation of
God’s holiness so I will walk worthy of the Lord and please Him in
every way.
5) For a revelation of the pleasure God finds in me and my obedience.
6) For Jesus
to become my chief pleasure.
I took the idea for these prayers from a book by Dick Eastman, Love on its knees.

Invited through the narrow door...
Sunday, November 24
2 Cor. 3:16-18 "But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."
Praying for some friends - that they would turn to the Lord so that the veil is gone and they are transformed into His image.
